Rising Stars 5th edition concept:
We open the competition in 4 music sections: Popular music, Classical Music, Folk Music, Original Song. All the
participants will sing on the first night in open air area, then the participants with the highest points from
professional jury members will make it to the finals, which will sing the same song on Gjilan’s Theater, where it
will be a gala night and great show. The best ones will be awarded and will get invitations from jury members
for international festivals.

CONTEST:

• The contest is opened to soloists from 6 to 18+
• We open the competition in 4 sections:
  *Popular Music (Pop, Rock, RnB, Jazz)
  *Classical Music
  *Folk Music (mother‘s language songs/any genre)
  *Original Song (playback optional)
• The participants will be devided based on their age. These will be the categories:
  *XS (6-9 years old)
  *S (10-13 years old)
  *M (14-17 years old)
  *L (18+ years old)
• Any participant can apply on as many sections as he/she wishes. The more sections the participant applies, the more chances he/she has to make it to the finals.
• Total duration of one performance should not exceed 4 minutes
• The participation fee for 1 section is 50.00€.
• The second participation in each section next is 30.00€

Awards:

Every participant will be awarded with diploma. As we mentioned, the participants with the highest
score from the professional jury members will make it to the finals. Finalists will be determined by the
maximum points, regardless of the sections they compete. For example, there may be 8 finalists out of 20
competitors in the Popular music section and on the other hand 2 finalists out of 25 competitors in the Folk
Music section. It all depends on the points.

Contestants are going to compete for:

• a) the Main Prize — Grand Prix, which is going to be won by the participant with the highest score over all categories and music sections. Grand Prix winner will get 500.00 EURO
• b) 1st Place in each age category (XS, S, M, L)
• c) 2nd Place in each age category (XS, S, M, L)
• d) 3rd Place in each age category (XS, S, M, L)
• e) Special Prize in each age category (XS, S, M, L)
• Performances by contestants, their professionalism, originality and stage presentation will be marked by the international jury members within a scale between 50 to 100 points. Jury’s decision is final and indisputable. If two participants will have the same points, the one that got higher points from 2 jury presidents, will be considered first.

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Organizers of the contest have the rights to take photos, videos during the contest, as well as, distribute

audio, video and photo material of the contest.

• Leaders are responsible for health and safety of their students.

•   Submission of the application signifies agreement to the regulations.
•   Contestants arrive at their own expense. Let us know if you require a transfer from the airport and back.

All matters not mentioned in the Regulation will be resloved with the contest organizers.

•       The organizers reserve the right to change the rules of the contest.
• In case of any change in the programme will occur, the organizers will inform participants no later than
  one week prior to the competition.
